  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 c. crushed corn-flavored cereal squares (Corn Chex)
  • 1/2 c. finely packed brown sugar
  • pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 3 c. sliced cooked peaches
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Directions

    Melt butter in heavy skillet.

    Add pecans; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 minutes or until toasted.

    Stir in cereal crumbs, brown sugar and nutmeg.

    Press half of crumb mixture into 8-inch square baking pan.

    Put pan into freezer for 15 minutes.
