- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans, halved or chopped
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Mix first 6 ingredients together.

2Stir in pecans.

3Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

4Reduce heat and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

5Outer edge of filling should be set, center slightly soft.
