  • 6 to 7 c. cukes (smaller the better), sliced thin
  • 1 c. onion, sliced thin
  • 1 c. bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white or cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

    Boil sugar, vinegar,

    and celery seed until sugar is dissolved. Let cool;

    pour over pickles, onion and pepper. Refrigerate 24 hours.
