Easy Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

- 1 small can pineapple slices (5)
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. maraschino cherries
- 1 Jiffy white cake mix
Directions

1Make cake mix according to directions on the box.

2Heat butter in pan, preferably an iron skillet.

3Put in brown sugar and cook slightly.

4Place the 5 pineapple slices around pan; one in the middle and 4 around it.

5Cook a bit more.

6Then, place nuts and cherries on and around pineapple slices.

7Continue to cook slightly. Pour cake mix batter in on the pineapple layer.

8Cook 25 to 30 minutes until cake tests done.

9While still quite warm, turn the cake out onto a large plate.

10Serve hot or cool.
