- 2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1 egg
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.

2Heat water, milk and cooking oil in saucepan over low heat until very warm (120° to 130°).

3Add egg to warm liquid and flour mixture.

4Blend at low speed with mixer 3 minutes, then 1 minute at medium speed.

5Stir in another 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour by hand to form a stiff batter (batter will follow spoon).

6Cover batter and let rise in a warm place (80° to 85°) until light and doubled, about 50 minutes.

7Stir down batter, then spoon into greased muffin cups or muffin pan. This dough should rise about 20 minutes, then bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

8Remove from pan immediately after baking.
