Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon, cut up
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti (uncooked)
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In skillet that has lid, fry bacon 2 minutes.

2Stir in onions and garlic; cook until tender.

3Add meat and brown.

4Stir in seasonings, tomato sauce and water.

5Cover; simmer about 25 minutes.

6Stir in ripe olives.

7Break half of spaghetti into greased 2-quart casserole.

8Cover with half the sauce, then top with half the cheese.

9Repeat layers.

10Cover.

11Bake in a 350° oven 30 minutes.

12Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer until browned and bubbly.
