  • 1 to 2 lb. stew meat, cut up
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 2 to 4 carrots, diced
  • 8 oz. frozen peas (optional)
  • 10.5 oz. can beef consomme, undiluted
  • 2 to 3 celery stalks, cut up

    Brown meat in oil; drain.
