  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar or 1 c.
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • sprinkle of nutmeg (on top of custard)
  • unbaked pie crust

Directions

    Beat eggs and sugar well.

    Pour milk into sugar and eggs.

    Add flavor.

    Melt the butter; add to mixture.

    Pour into pie crust; sprinkle nutmeg on top of custard.

    Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until custard will be shaky but will be firm when it cools.
