- 3 c. milk
- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Scald the milk.

2Mix together the eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt.

3Stir the milk gradually into the egg mixture.

4Strain into the pie shell.

5Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 325° and bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

6Cool.
