  • 1/2 lb. sugar
  • 1/5 rum
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 qt. heavy cream

    Beat egg yolks until light.

    Beat in sugar until mixture is thick.

    Stir in milk and rum.

    Chill for 3 hours.

    Pour into punch bowl.

    Fold in heavy cream, stiffly whipped.

    Chill for one hour. Dust with nutmeg.
