Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 whole onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 to 5 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 oz. dried mushroom (optional)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. clear dried noodles (called nuen)
  • 1 to 2 pkg. egg roll wrappers
  • shredded carrots and cabbage (optional)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, excluding wrappers, together.

    Next, separate the wrappers and place them diamond-shaped in front of you.

    Place one spoonful of the meat onto one side of one of the corners.

    Beginning at that corner, fold the wrapper over the meat and roll until you get to the other corner.

    Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.

    Place a couple of rolls in the skillet.

    Put on medium-high heat.

    Fry until golden brown.

    Serve with traditional Vietnamese sauce.
