- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. commercial eggnog
- 1/2 c. candied cherries, chopped fine
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder and salt (set aside).

2Combine eggs, sugar and butter.

3Beat well and add flour mixture alternating with eggnog beginning with flour mixture.

4Stir in remaining ingredients.

5Pour batter into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes.

7Remove to wire rack and cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.
