- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Directions

1In the top of a double boiler, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar and salt.

2Add milk and mix well.

3Stir frequently and cook over hot water until mixture thickens to coat a metal spoon.

4Mix in rum and chill.

5Beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form.

6Fold into chilled egg mixture, pour into glasses and top with freshly grated nutmeg.
