- 1 c. unblanched sliced almonds
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 2 c. finely ground walnuts
Directions

1On a foil lined baking sheet, arrange almonds in a single layer over a 12 x 7-inch area.

2In 2-quart saucepan, combine butter, sugar, vanilla and salt.

3Cook over high heat, stirring constantly with clean, dry spoon, until butter is melted. Continue cooking and stirring, 5 to 7 minutes (until mixture is the color of unbleached almonds).

4Immediately pour over almonds; do not scrape pan.

5Cool completely.

6Melt chocolate chips and break toffee into pieces and dip into melted chocolate.

7Sprinkle walnuts on top.
