- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. warm milk
- 5 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, then add 1 1/2 cups warm water.

2Mix all ingredients.

3Let rise about 40 minutes.

4Punch down.

5Refrigerate until dough is chilled.

6Break off walnut size chunk.

7Roll out or pull apart; flatten dough.

8Melt shortening in large skillet, about 1 1/2-inches deep.

9Place ear in hot grease. Brown on both sides.

10Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
