English Picnic Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust recipe
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- raw egg yolk, mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Directions

1Combine beef, bread crumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, milk and salt in a large bowl.

2Set aside.

3Line a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan with a pie crust, overlap the rim.

4Spoon half of the meat mixture. Top with hard-cooked eggs.

5Cover with the remaining meat mixture and pat smooth.

6Place pie crust on top of meat, flute (pinch together) top and bottom crust.

7Cut out a small circle in the center of the pastry.

8Brush with egg yolk mixed with water. Bake at 350°

9for 2 hours.

10Chill.

11Unmold and slice.
