  • 1 Cup Dried fava beans, soaked overnight, drained
  • 1/2 Cup Onion-minced
  • 3 Cloves Garlic-crushed
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Garbanzo flour
  • 1/4 Cup Fine bulgar
  • 1/4 Cup Parsley-finely chopped
  • 3/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 2 Tsp. Ground cumin
  • 2 Tsp. Ground coriander
  • 2 Tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp. ground black pepper
  • Oil for deep frying

    1/2 -inch round) or form them into walnut sized balls. Deep fry in 375 degrees F.
