Ingredients

  • 1 can drained apricots
  • 1 can drained peaches
  • 1 can drained pears
  • 1 box pitted prunes
  • 1 can or jar pitted dark cherries
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 can macaroons
  • 1/2 c. red wine
  • 1 pkg. sliced almonds
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

    Butter sides and bottom of 9 x 11-inch pan.

    Crumble 1/2 macaroons onto bottom.

    Pour all fruits on top.

    Melt butter and wine together and pour on fruit.

    Sprinkle almonds; crumble remaining macaroons and sprinkle on, then sprinkle brown sugar. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
