- 1 Tbsp. yeast
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten well
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Mix first three ingredients.

2Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

3Let dough rise 2 to 4 hours.

4Divide dough in half, roll each half in a round circle, about 1/3-inch thick.

5Butter the dough and cut like pie wedges.

6Roll from big end to make the point on top.

7Let rise on greased pans, until light, up to 3 hours.

8Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350°.

9These will be light as a feather.
