  • 1 1/2 pounds medium to large shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced thinly
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • dash of crushed red pepper
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsps dried oregano
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup ouzo liquor (black licorice flavour)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
