  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. drained figs
  • 1 c. nuts

    Beat together oil, sugar and eggs.

    Add soda to buttermilk and add flour to batter.
