  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 c. Crisco
  • 4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 c. fresh figs, peeled and mashed
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Cream sugar, eggs and Crisco.

    Sift flour, salt, soda and spices together.

    Add to creamed mixture.

    Slowly add figs and nuts.

    Bake in well-greased 12 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° until well done.
