  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped blanched almonds

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add the flour and blend well. Shape into 1 x 1 1/2-inch sticks.

    Dip into beaten egg.

    Roll in almonds.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.
