- 1 c. uncooked minute rice
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 2 tsp. chopped onions
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. tomato juice
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Combine rice with beef, egg, onions, salt, pepper and 1/2 c. tomato juice.

2Mix lightly, shape into 18 balls, place in skillet, and brown.

3Add sugar to remaining tomato juice.

4Pour juice over meatballs in skillet.

5Bring mixture to a boil.

6Reduce heat and simmer.
-
7Cover 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
