- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs, well beaten
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. Watkins coconut flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins rum extract
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins butter flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins lemon flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. Watkins vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, which have been beaten until lemon colored.

2Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

3Stir in flavorings.

4Spoon mixture into prepared 10-inch tube pan.

5Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, or until cake tests done. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes before turning out.
