- 1 cup cornflakes
- 1 oz. red glace cherries
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup raw peanuts
- 1/3 cup condensed milk
- 2 oz. dark chocolate
Directions

1Combine in a bowl slightly-crushed cornflakes, finely chopped cherries, sultanas, peanuts and condensed milk, mix well.

2Line cookie sheets with greased grease-proof paper, dust lightly with flour.

3Drop teaspoonsful onto cooking sheet.

4Bake at 350F for 8 minutes or until edges begin to turn brown.

5Leave on cooking sheet to cool.

6Use a spatula to remove when cold.

7Melt chopped chocolate in top of double boiler over simmering water.

8Using a spatula, spread chocolate on base of cooled florentine.

9Mark wavy lines on chocolate with a fork.

10Let chocolate set.
