Ingredients
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. cold water
Directions

1With fork, mix first 4 ingredients.

2In a separate dish, beat remaining ingredients.

3Combine the 2, stirring with fork until all ingredients are moistened.

4With hands, mold dough into 5 balls.

5Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling.

6Dough can be left in refrigerator up to 3 days or can be wrapped in plastic or foil and frozen in balls until ready to use.

7Dough will remain soft in refrigerator and can be taken out and rolled after waiting a couple of minutes.

8Makes 5 crusts.
