Formosan Fried Cabbage

  • 4 strips bacon or 1/2 lb. sausage, chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 medium cabbage, chopped coarsely
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • rice

Directions

    Brown bacon and onion together in heavy saucepan or large skillet.

    Drain off some of the fat.

    Add cabbage and stir-fry over low heat until cabbage is tender.

    Add soy sauce.

    Serve over rice and pass additional soy sauce.
