- 5 lb. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 (3 lb.) can vegetable shortening
- 3 c. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour and salt in large bowl.

2With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal in texture.

3Add water and mix lightly until the flour mixture absorbs the water and it resembles putty.

4If dough is too sticky, add 1/4 cup flour more.

5Divide dough into 10 oblong rolls.

6Wrap well and freeze.

7Makes enough for 10 double crust pies or 20 single.
