  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 6 to 7 sour apples
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions

    Combine sugar and cinnamon with the apples.

    Arrange in pie shell and dot with 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter.

    Make a mixture of 1/2 cup of butter, brown sugar and flour.

    Put on apples and bake at 400° for 45 to 55 minutes.

    Top with Butter Icing.
