   dry ingredients together.

   Gradually add to liquid mixture; mixing well.

   Add apples, vanilla and nuts; mix well. Pour into greased

    floured tube pan.

    Bake in preheated oven 40 to 60 minutes at 350°.

    Do not open oven during first 30 minutes.

    A confectioners sugar glaze can be used.
