  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. apples, chopped
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions

    Mix first 9 ingredients together and then add the nuts and apples.

    Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.

    Not all ovens bake the same, so you may need to test the cake for doneness.
