Ingredients

  • 1 ounce yellow Chartreuse
  • 1/2 ounce Bonal Gentiane-Quina (fortified, slightly bitter aperitif wine)
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 4 dashes of Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 large egg
  • Ice
  • Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, combine all of the ingredients except ice and the garnish and shake vigorously.

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake again.

    Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the nutmeg.
