- dash of salt
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- dash of pepper

1Wash and trim bottoms of fresh asparagus.

2Cut asparagus in 1/2-inch diagonal slices.

3Melt Crisco in large skillet.
