- fresh cod tongues
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lb. salt pork
Directions

1Carefully wash fresh tongues and dry in a paper towel.

2Allow 7 or 8 per person.

3Put flour, salt and pepper together in plastic bag.

4Put tongues in and shake them until evenly floured.

5Cut up salt pork and fry until golden brown.

6Remove pork cubes and fry tongues until golden brown on both sides.

7Serve with mashed potatoes and green peas.
