- 8 large ears of corn
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. oleo
Directions

1Remove husk and silk from corn; cut twice real thin.

2Scrape down.

3Mix corn, salt, black pepper, sugar, flour and cold water. Mix well.

4Melt shortening; pour corn in skillet.

5Cook for about 20 minutes.

6Add oleo and continue cooking for about 20 minutes more.

7Stir continually until done.
