- 12 ears fresh corn
- 4 slices smoked country bacon
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Drain and save bacon.

3Cut corn off of cobb, then scrape cobb to remove milky substance.

4Add corn to bacon dripping, add water and cook until it is the consistency of cream corn.

5If it thickens too much, add a little water.

6Season with salt and pepper.
