  • 5 fish filets (flounder, cod, stripped bass)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 4 tbsp old bay seasonings
  • 1 enough oil for frying, or use deep fryer or bake at 400 whatever your preferance

    beat egg , buttermilk, and water well

    mix cornmeal, flour and seasonings in separate dish

    dip fish in milk then dry mix, either bake on cookie sheet for 20 min or fry about 3-5 min on each side until golden brown
