- 3 or 4 medium green tomatoes
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. flour
- cooking oil
Directions

1Wash, core and slice tomatoes into thin slices.

2In a low bowl, beat eggs, add milk, salt, pepper and flour.

3Mix together well.

4If too thick, add more milk; if too thin, add more flour. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet.

5Dip tomato slices in egg mixture and place in hot oil.

6Brown on both sides; serve hot.
