  • 4 large green tomatoes (firm), cut in 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika

    Wash and slice tomatoes.

    Combine meal, salt, pepper and paprika.

    Dredge tomatoes in this and fry in skillet, with a 1/4-inch of oil, until brown, turning once.
