  • 6 to 8 green tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • oil (for frying)

Directions

    Cut tomatoes into slices.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Put flour into a bowl.

    Coat tomatoes with flour, a few at a time. Cook in hot oil until done.
