  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup fish ZATARAIN'S(R) Crispy Southern, Fri(R)
  • 4 green tomatoes cut into 1/3-inch thick slices
  • salt

Directions

    Pour oil into deep heavy skillet, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat on medium-high heat to 350°F

    Beat eggs and water in shallow bowl. Place Fish-Fri in shallow dish. Dip tomato slices in egg mixture. Coat in Fish-Fri, pressing lightly; shake off excess

    Fry tomato slices in batches, 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Season with salt, if desired.
