- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3-4 green tomatoes, slice 1/4 inch thick
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper and milk in a medium bowl. In a deep pan, heat oil on high.

2Dip tomato slices, one at a time, into batter.

3Fry quickly, turning once with tongs. Remove from oil and stand up, like a wheel, to drain and avoid becoming soggy before serving.
