- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons hot milk
- 1 egg yolk
- Pie Filling (your choice)
- oil (for deep frying)
- powdered sugar (for coating after fried)
Directions

1Cut butter into flour with pastry blender.

2Combine milk and egg yolk. Pour over flour mixture, stirring to mix well.

3Roll out small portions on floured surface.

4Place pie filling in center.

5Fold over and seal edges.

6Fry in deep fat until golden.

7Put sugars or coating in brown paper bag and shake (after frying) to coat.
