- 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon white pepper ground
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning dried
- 1 can beer
- 2 pounds shrimp
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir until smooth.

2Let batter stand 30 minutes.

3Peel shrimp, leaving tails intact; devein, if desired.

4Pour oil to depth of 2 inches into a Dutch oven; heat to 375F (190C).

5Dip shrimp into batter, and fry, a few at a time, until golden.

6Drain on paper towels.
