Fried Stuffed Jalapenos

  • 1 pt. fresh jalapenos (pepper)
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese (your choice), grated
  • 1 box tempura mix

Directions

    Parboil peppers for 2 or 3 minutes, until they are semi-tender.

    Cool.

    Slit sides of peppers and carefully remove seeds.

    Stuff grated cheese (your favorite!) into peppers.

    Dip in tempura batter and fry until golden brown.
