Fried Sweet Prawns

  • 20 Ama-ebi shrimp (with their shells)
  • 2 tbsp Karaage-ko coating for karaage
  • 1 Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 Lemon
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions

    Coat the shrimp in Karaage-ko and cut the lemon into wedges.

    Drop the shrimp into vegetable oil heated to 180C and fry until crispy.

    Drain the fried shrimp on paper towels.
  4. 4
    Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with salt.
  5. 5
    Squeeze over lemon juice to taste and eat the shrimp, shells and all!
