Ingredients

  • 500 grams whitebait
  • 4 tbsp oregano to taste
  • 1 olive oil, for frying
  • 1 salt to taste
  • 1 fresh lemon juice

Directions

    Wash whitebait and put in a strainer.

    Spread salt and leave aside until olive oil is ready.

    In a pan put olive oil, when ready put whitebait.
  4. 4
    Fry 10-15 minutes or more if you want it crispier.

    Serve in a plate.

    Spread oregano and as much of the fresh lemon juice you want.
  7. 7
    It's better when you eat it warm.
