Frozen Chocolate Orange Bars

  • 4 None large eggs
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 10 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
  • 3 oz candied orange, finely chopped

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Line bottom and sides with parchment paper.

    Beat eggs and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until thick and creamy. Beat in cooled chocolate until combined.

    Fold in combined cream, liqueur and orange. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Place pan in a large baking dish. Pour enough boiling water into dish to come halfway up side of baking pan.

    Bake for 35 mins, or until just set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cover and freeze overnight.

    Remove dessert from pan. Let stand at room temperature for 10 mins. Cut into small squares to serve.
