  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Scald milk in double boiler.

    Beat egg yolks, sugar and salt. Pour scalded milk over beaten mixture.

    Return to double boiler and cook until coats a spoon.

    Allow mixture to cool.

    Add cream and vanilla.

    Freeze.

    Makes 2 quarts.
